The College of New Jersey officially recognized the Women's and Gender Studies major in the Spring semester of 2000.  One year later, in February of 2001, the TCNJ chapter of Iota Iota Iota was founded.

Our chapter of Iota Iota Iota is not yet recognized by TCNJ's Office of Campus Life; however, we are in the process of gaining that recognition.  We have been recognized by the Alpha Chapter at Metro State in Denver.
