World Resources Institute is taking applications for summer internships in its External Relations Department. Ex-ternal Relations is responsible for media relations, online communications, legis-lative affairs, and publications. They are looking for motivated and organized individuals with strong research and communications skills to assist with a variety of short-term projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree or recent graduates with interests in non-profit communications or environ-mental issues. The Streit Council is seeking applica-tions for intern positions. The ideal applicant is well organized, hard work-ing and dynamic, with a sincere interest and background in transatlantic relations and/or international integration. Candi-date must have a background in interna-tional affairs, history or political science, possibly with a concentration in Transat-lantic Relations or European Studies. Very good knowledge of Office is required, and a familiarity with Dream-weaver, experience with Publisher and Photoshop is a great asset. The Center for National Security Studies is offering full- and part-time internships each academic semester and summer. Successful applicants will be highly motivated students with excellent research skills and a passion for public interest work and civil liberties. Interns will work closely with the leaders of CNSS to influence national policymakers and opinion leaders. This is an ideal job for law students interested in gaining a better understanding of Washington policymaking.
