| Reading works by Renaissance/early modern women writers Christine de Pizan, Amelia Lanyer, Elizabeth Cary, Mary Wroth, Queen Elizabeth, and the anonymous pamphlet writers in the "querelle de femmes" or Battle-of-the-Sexes-Pamphlet Wars. Countering and/or complementing these works will be Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, Othello, Much Ado About Nothing, and some sonnets. | |
