| Students will explore the social and political articulation of a social group that has been marginalized for centuries and how their discourse has helped to dispel myths and misconceptions of the gay and lesbian life. some of the topics to be studied are: the beginning of the Gay and Lesbian Movement, the coming-out process, the impact of AIDS in the community, and homosexuality & religion. | |
